Adventure through Victoria's premier wine country on the 48km Rutherglen Loops trail network. Well-signed and maintained, these four distinct loops cater to everyone from casual wanderers to keen cyclists, with options ranging from quick 4km circuits to the full 23km Wine Loop experience. Stop at cellar doors along the way, enjoy lunch with vineyard views, and discover the mighty Murray River. Perfect for year-round exploration, each season brings its own charm – from summer swims at Lake Moodemere to autumn's golden vineyard vistas.

Start location: Rutherglen, Wahgunyah or Lake Moodemere trail heads

Suitable for: Visitors of all ages and fitness levels. Most loops are flat to gently undulating, with the Wine Loop requiring moderate fitness due to some short hills. Different loops suit different interests – from quick family rides to full-day winery adventures.

Water & Toilets: Available next to the Rutherglen, Wahgunyah and Lake Moodemere trail heads and at many wineries during cellar door hours.

Wahgunyah
