LGBTQIA+ Pride Month is celebrated each year in the month of June. Pride is a time to celebrate the culture and diversity of the world’s LGBTQIA+ community.
The Symbol Of Pride is the rainbow flag, created in 1978 by Gilbert Baker, an openly gay artist and activist. The most universally used rainbow flag today consists of six colors, each of which has a specific meaning. Together, these colours reflect the diversity of identities that form the LGBTQIA+ community.
Their Rainbow Butterfly artwork is their way of shining a light on the LGBTQIA+ community and to acknowledge, embrace and actively celebrate people of all genders and identities.
To commemorate Pride Month the team invite you to join them on the Saturday of ROAM Rutherglen Winery Walkabout for a celebration of pride, creativity and self-expression.
Hosted by Pinot and Picasso, you will be guided through a step-by-step creative painting class as you sip on your favourite Pfeiffer wine.
Regardless of whether you attend as an individual or assemble a squad, this is a day to celebrate culture and diversity, immerse yourself and create.
What’s included: 2.5 hours guided painting session with a local Pinot and Picasso artist, 16 x 20 inch blank canvas, Acrylic paints, Brushes, Table easel, Pinot & Picasso apron to use, a complimentary glass of Pfeiffer Prosecco on arrival, Cheese, Biscuits and Olives.
