Memorial Plaza Interactive Mural
Sanger Street Corowa 2646
Federation Youth Council engaged Albury artist Kade Fielder to work with students from Corowa High School to create stunning murals that adorn the walls of Memorial Plaza, just off Sanger Street. The murals are composed of several native faunas, including the echidna, brushtail possum, the golden whistler and the red-capped robin.
Since the original murals were painted in 2019, a new mural inspired by the Murray River was added when space was upgraded in 2021. Memorial Plaza now features cafe style and bench seating, public WiFi, a community notice board, wooden panel roofing, lighting and a drinking fountain.
